"Can feel floor thumping on second floor seating every time a new customer comes up. The porridge is nice with several tasty different sides, not too salty, portion is just nice as well for supper. Also tried the peanut and lotus soup, the taste is authentic and nostalgic. Recommended for homey meals"

Service and atmosphere: Service and atmosphere is good too, nothing to argue. Overall, definitely would come again to visit, the prices are okay too, as their food portion is really sufficient for a big eater like me haha."

"A Home Taste 居家味 - Restaurant Review - Finished an event late and wanted to have supper but want somewhere more comfortable due to excessive heat and humidity. We managed to stumbled upon this place. As it was late, car park was not an issue (I suspect it might be if it was during a busier time). We ordered - Teochew Porridge - Minced Meat with instant noodle - Asam Laksa I don’t have whether cos we were hungry but the food was absolutely delicious. Like the name of shop said, its food is likely something we would cook at home for ourselves. The place is clean and had plenty of seating. They even have an upper lever. the upper lever staircase was an old styled staircase they kept. It gave the place a homely feel. But I feel older and weak knee customers might have a bit of problem climbing.
